Rachel Torn RMT

Calgary and Okotoks, Alberta

Rachel stands at the head of a table massaging the shoulders of a heavily tattoo'd man laying face down. She is wearing black shorts and a black t-shirt, her light brown hair is in a ponytail, part of it coloured bright blue. They are in a gym.

Not your average massage.

I help active people recover faster, move better, and stay injury-free so they can keep doing what they love.

If you’re tired of quick fixes or “just relax” massages that don’t actually help, you’re in the right place. The vibe is laid-back, the music’s good, and every session is customized to what your body needs that day so the results last long after you leave the table.

What I work with

How I work

Each session blends hands-on work, movement, and education so what we do on the table carries into your everyday life.

You can expect:

  • Assessment during your first visit or with new injury

  • Hands-on treatment to reduce tension and improve tissue

  • Cupping, IASTM, proprioceptive sensory integration and taping to improve function, feedback, and support

  • Breathing and core mechanics to build stability and connection

  • Passive stretching and active movement to improve control and range

  • Education to help you understand your body and progress

  • Remedial exercises to keep results going between sessions
